I am the Long Term Sub for 5th-8th ELA. I grew up in Little Village and went to elementary school at Eli Whitney. I went to college at Northeastern Illinois University. My favorite Saint is Saint Jude. I admire Saint Jude because he represents hope, perseverance, and faith, especially during difficult or uncertain times.
One thing I want OLS students and families to know about me is that I truly care about helping every student feel welcomed, supported, and capable of succeeding. I look forward to building positive relationships with students and families and becoming part of the OLS community.
Catholic education is about educating the whole child through faith, compassion, service, and academic growth. It provides students with a strong foundation of values that they can carry with them throughout their lives.
Why OLS? I chose OLS because I value its strong sense of faith, family, and community. I am excited to contribute my experience as an educator while learning, growing, and supporting the students and families of OLS.
My teaching style is supportive, patient, and student-centered. I believe in meeting students where they are, building on their individual strengths, and creating a welcoming classroom where every child feels confident, valued, and encouraged to succeed.
